Insurance - good stuff.
On a totally different note, are you planning a vacation or weekend trip anytime soon?
Yah, a thief could retire with my house, her jewelry appraised well over the cost of a new built 3 bedroom starter home...
Thats just the white gold/Platinum with diamonds stuff!!! She has her jewelry in drawers by color and metal, 1 drawer yellow gold, 1 drawer for white gold and platinum with diamonds, 1 drawer with white and platinum no stones, and 1 drawer of misc stuff.
The second picture is the most expensive piece she has, thats about 6 carats total she hardly ever wears it, in total she has almost 50 carats of diamonds and around 300g of gold!!!
Think of it as retirement you can enjoy before you retire....
Anyway, if someone did come to rob my house, they would have to be really determined, I have multiple separate video surveillance systems, multiple alarm systems, and then the only jewelry not in the safe at any given time is what my wife is wearing {and she has a permit to carry, and does}, then the safe, is a built in that is hardwired to the emergency panel... The company that designed my home system works out of NY and designs systems for banks and companies that hold 25,000 times the value of everything I own... But, my insurance is super cheap and the family feels safe...
There are some pretty cool features to todays high tech alarms systems, you can have something on your person no one knows is part of the alarm, like a cell phone, car keys, necklace, watch, ect so if your alarm is disarmed and one of the family members doesnt have that item near the panel it will trigger silent emergency and start sending alerts to who ever else you want alerted, neighbors, family members, private security company ect...
My wife forgot her "item" wasnt on her once and she disarmed the alarm when she came home, before she made it from the garage to the kitchen, my alarm was sending me a video feed {linked to my cell phone} from the zone she was in at my house, I called her and the cops were already there!!!
I know it sounds paranoid but the Petit home invasion was an hour from my home, and we have some friends that knew the family very closely... You just dont know whats going to happen, people suck...
Also if the alarm doesnt work, I just happen to collect 1911's
Plus you gotta sneak past my hunting pair, my male doesnt let anything by, I dont know if he hears it or what, but when someone comes to the house, he knows before the security system, and that alerts the signal {it beeps when someone pulls on the driveway then the tripped video zone comes up in the PIP} and he knows at least 3 seconds before the beep, that means he hears them slow down to pull in the driveway, and the house is well insulated and I have a 500ft driveway!!! The best part is he knows when its one of us, if me or my wife come home he doesnt move {except when we just got the new jeep, hes still not used to it and it took him about 2 months to get used o the new house, we just finished it this year} but a strage car he is up a full 3 seconds before the alarm beeps!!!
heres my male on his birthday {at the old house}...
