That is half the fun of it :D

Actually, I have 60 day price protection that started yesterday. If the price drops further I get some money back to buy some movies. If HD-DVD starts resurect itself and prices start to go up well then I got an even better deal than I started with.

I guess living dangerously at my age now is a little more calculated than it was when I was 20 :D

Well you can always get a BD player, my advice: don't spend a lot of money on HD DVD. I would Netflix.

I agree that most should Netflix both formats unless a BOGO free opportunity presents itself. $10 movies at Amazon can't be beat.

HD DVD players still play Universal and Paramount movies. What's $100? A Blu-Ray player is still $400.

I am planning to get a PS3 at month end to serve as my BD player. I enjoy gaming as well so it seems like a smart buy.

Unfortunately no NetFlix (AFAIK) here in Canada. I am planning to sink a few more dollars into HD-DVD movies, but only when I can find them on a BOGO or other good deal.

I had enough HD-DVD titles already when the Warner announcement came down that I don't mind spending a bit more to get a few more titles.
