I have been lurking on here for a while . I am finally at a oint that i can but some good stuff. Right now i have a sony str dh800 as receiver with sony ssf5000 towers and sscn 5000 center and ssb1000 surounds and polk psw110 sub. I know its not the greatest but i have about $400 total in it. I bout it all open box or on sale i was going through a divorce at the time and now its over im back on my feet and i have money to get something good. I do plan on building a sealed sub with JL Audio 12w7 so i have it taken care of. I also plan to upgrade receiver soon to. Anyways the 3 towers im looking at are The Inifinty Primus 362 ,Klipsch RF-62 and At the upper limit of my funds are the Axiom m60v2.I have heard the Klipsch and do lik e them but havent heard the other two. I know Axiom have in home trial. But i Also have heard a lot good about the Inifiny to. Are the Axiom worth the extra over the other two? I also will get the matching center and use the sonys i have now for surroun.s until i can get matching surrounds

Sounds like you have a pretty good idea which direction you want to go with your system. Are you planning on using your setup mainly for music or HT? That might have an effect on your final speaker decision. I've owned a few Klipsch speakers and found them fatiguing (like many others) for music. Since you've heard them, I'll leave you to your own judgement. I haven't had the opportunity to hear any Axioms, but those who own them rave about them. I've also heard they can be a bit bright, but probably no more than Klipsch in general. I just sold off a 5.1 set of Infinity Primus speakers. I had the smaller towers, not the 360's. They did an good job for music and movies. If it wasn't for upgrading my music system, I'd still have them. I'd say stay away from the Infinity subs, but it sounds like you have that part under control. If you can, I'd say see if you can find someplace to audition the Infinities. I'm sure some of the Axiom owners will chime in with their experiences to give you some input. Good luck!

I would be useing it for 75 HT and 25 music . One reason i like the klipsch is that they are easy to drive and i could use my reciever i have now topwer them til i can get a better one. I dont know of anyplace close that has the infinitys. The klipsch and the infinity are the two im mainly looking at.

I was in a similar boat and was interested in Oppman's Inifnitys but I couldn't get up there to take a listen.

I was initially all sprung on the Klipsch Rf series, but looking at the RF-52s. I spent time listening in different audio store rooms as different rooms will effect what you hear. The Klipsch are very good and sound great, but over time in listening to music, I felt "fatigue." Meaning my ears and mind felt tired from the effect and taht I wanted to go to a quiet room to give them a rest. My room is also big, open, airy with flat surfaces. The Kipsch fell out of favor the more time I spent listening to different brands.

So what is a guy to do? I listened to Focal and liked them, but they were out of my budget. I forget some of the other brands I listened to and liked.

My answer? I ordered a pair of the Axiom M60s and the VP150 center. I am taking a gamble, but the time I spent listening to various brands gave me an indication of what I liked to hear and from the reviews, I think the Axiom can deliver.

Wish I had them already so I could give you my feedback. But the hardest thing I ran into is no retailer/shop carried every brand so I could compare against each other in the same room. What finally cemented my decision was (igroring the fact I was driving myself crazy) was listening to several brands in a shop that had a room with similar characteristics to my room. I am taking a leap of faith on the Axioms, but I felt comfortable enough to place the order.
