The Canadian government has gone so far as to advise travellers to leave smartphones, tablets and laptops home and bring a dumb burner phone in order to avoid hassles. I'm just waiting for CBP to start turning people back because they arrived with a burner phone. I mean, they are obviously hiding something if they don't have at least a smartphone in their possession, right?
