Android Emulator for Windows?

We have new phone software for our delivery routes. It is better, than the 10+ year old ones. It was actually three apps, one for picks and drops and proof of delivery one for taking pictures and a map. Now it's all in one, Anyway, portions of it would be better viewed on my desktop in preparation at oh-dark-30 in the mornings. Anyone familiar with an emulator that would work?

Huge pain in the a$$ to use my phone to see the map. I make a route and put it in my 7" Garmin and make other notes, etc. So for a better view, I use my tablet. That sucks. It refreshes every minute and I lose where I was. Just heinous. I tried turning off wifi, put it in airplane mode and it still refreshes! I'll search for an emulator over the weekend. The new software is way more slick during the route, but the preparation is bogus!

Thx Eppie. I'll check that out. I hope it cuts the mustard! Hopefully they will work with curser and mouse because I do not have a touch-screen Windows computer, if there is such a thing.

@Eppie , I have that downloaded and successfully added my driver app. I was hoping to load a previous route to see how it behaves, but the app doesn't let you go back. So I'll have to see how it behaves when they send me my route for Monday. Thanks!

@Eppie , Monday's routes are always the smallest of the week so I wanted to see how it works out on Tuesday, today. And yeah, it's good. The aspect ratio is the same as a phone. I was hoping for a full screen. And the size is pretty much the same as my tablet. But the biggest benefit of working on the route on my desktop is that it does not refresh every 30 seconds and that is great. So I will continue to use it Tuesdays -Fridays. I have the free version of Bluestacks. I don't do games, so no need to upgrade. Thx again!

Thanks for sharing your project. The BackAlley mod sounds like a very creative idea especially the web browser with an alternative car marketplace and intel service. It looks like it can add a lot of depth and fun to the gameplay.
I appreciate the effort you are putting into this for the community. Mods like this keep games interesting and fresh. Thanks for your work and best of luck with the development.

BlueStacks is probably the easiest one to try first for general app use on Windows. If you want something more “official,” the Android Studio emulator works too, but it’s heavier. If the app doesn’t rely on GPS/camera weirdness, BlueStacks or LDPlayer should be fine for desktop prep.

This is an old issue. The software works better now for the past few months after they did an update. It used to shift the view of the list every 30 seconds and that was so aggravating. Now it doesn't do that.
