Rich, are the T652 speakers comparable to the Polk R30 speakers? I own Dayton Subwoofers, but have never tried any other Dayton speakers.

The Polk R30 speakers are a bit taller, but the T652 have an entire second woofer up on the R30. A pair of Polk R30 are also quite a bit more expensive than the T652. Try the T652, and put on some music that has bass - you might be very surprised. They love to party.

If you have subwoofers, you might try the B652-AIR speakers as well - they have a more refined sound thanks to the AMT tweeter, and they have been well reviewed. For the price, they haven't been beaten yet.

I got these 2 weeks ago. Just took these out of the box an hour ago. I've been a bit busy lately, so I was not able to play with them. I'll give them a week to open up. Here are some pics in the meanwhile.

They are packed in thick foam(Top and Bottom).


As you can see they are well secured by Dayton.

(30 inches tall)Dual 6-1/2" polypropylene cone with 4-layer coil Tweeter: 5/8" polycarbonate dome with ferrofluid cooling. 5 inches shorter than the Pio Phil modded 52's(35 inch tall) I think the Dayton looks nicer looks wise. I like the black finish(Black ebony pica vinyl cabinet finish. Made of wood.) better than the Pio.
