Aluminum voice coil repair

While assembling my Wharfedale 12CS-ALs into their new open baffles I wound up breaking the wire to the voice coil on one of them. I never realized the voice coil wire was so fine. It was as small as a hair! What was worse was it's aluminum making it brittle (compared to copper) as well.
I've found there is no good way to solder aluminum so I resorted to tying a fine copper wire to it & holding it together with epoxy.
So far, so good.
If my repair fails, I'd like a plan B to fall back on.
Does anyone have experience with the conductive paint from RS, or any way to connect a wire to the stub. It's now short because it kept breaking off while I tried repairing it.
If there are any replacement cones, I'd like to know about them.

The voice coil itself is destroyed? Or the wire running from the mount to the voice coil?

wafflesomd,
It's the wire that connects to the flexible connection to the cone & lies inside the cone down to the voice coil proper.
I believe it's an extension of the fine aluminum voice coil wire.

Hi Dobias,
You will have to get the voice coil rewound.
Soon corrosion will form between the two dissimilar metals (copper / aluminum) and the conductivity will be lost.
