This pretty much sums up my thinking on this subject but, looking at this logically, OP has two posts to his credit, both on this thread, and hasn't returned in two weeks. Y'all may be beating a dead horse.
Sorry....been a while since I've checked in but all your input has not gone unnoticed.

Thanks again and to bring anyone interested up to speed...I'm meeting pre-wire installer today and have pretty much determined I'm going to run wires to allow flexibility for bookshelves or floor standing system. I will be using your advice time figure out exactly what they will be in next month or so.

I haven't been following this thread, so, I apologize if I'm repeating, but..

Per pre-wiring:
- Remember that wire is cheap compared to labor. Run a bunch! and label them by location.
- You may want to at least pre-wire your ceiling for atmos or similar, even if not starting your system with atmos.

If the installer quotes you a bunch on cables, check out monoprice.com
