Advice on new home theater

This is the walk in to the room

Left wall

Back wall and walk in area

The front wall where the projector will go

The wall to the right is the right wall

Dimensions are back to the stairwell wall are 18.1 feet

From left well to right wall 18.3 feet

Ceilings are 9 feet high

Total cubic volume is right at 3100 feet cubed when you count the little walk in area

Hah hah one sec I'm putting up dimensions and pictures next post I'll list equipment and construction plans then we'll all have fun with the planning I'm looking for any constructive feedback you guys will have to give

Okay here's my plans so far there will be some construction and remodeling

The front wall with windows will be covered up redone a projector screen will go there

The left wall has that bar with tile and custom cabinetry I plan on keeping it but building a sliding type of wall to cover it up that's acoustic to cancel out reflection issues it might have

Back further on that wall is a HUGE closet I plan on converting into the av rack or there's one by the entryway might be better to put the av rack as far away as possible so it might be the second closet

Planning on 2 rows of seats 4 seats not my Damn idea but I have to make the family happy

The stairwell will be completely sealed and walled off this room will be completely sealed and acoustically treated.

Repainted and recarpeted for decorative and acoustic and projector purposes

Okay here's the tricky part
I currently own
I have 3 Klipsch 8000f's
3 JBL studio 590's
4 SVS prime towers
2 SVS PB 4000's
I'm planning on getting separates a new pre pro
new projector
new power amps
I would love to bring the 590's and the Klipsch RP8000f's over to that room feel they would be epic
BUT if I can't bookshelves will work on surrounds If I don't stick with what I have I'm going with RBH the reference series all the way
Speakers will be open not concealed I won't build a front wall to conceal the front speakers projector screen will go above it like the one I have setup know

Any advice on how to work equipment I have or how to set this new room up is appreciated

One idea I'm thinking of is selling the PB 4000's and going with 4 PC 2000's I love there look with the final project I'd have and also having 4 subs for optimal layout. But I'm not sure I could give the 4000's up Lol
May just buy 2 PC 4000's to add 2 the PB 4000's I already have that's one idea I'm toying with

I wouldn't go down-line more than the 3000. (Still wish they offered the PC version there!) But what about upgrading to all PC4000? Are you too far along in your PB ownership? That said, there are many options out there, as you well know, if you wanted to change up down low. I know how you love your PB4Ks... but imagine if you had four of those new Hsu double drivers that Shady talked about coming out later this year!!!

Doing 7 towers is going to be rough, man, plus four subs!!! That's a lot of real estate.
To be honest... I like the sliding door covering the bar idea. I think you should consider a retractable transparent screen: no need to f with building a false wall. Great idea creating an equipment room in a closet: just be certain to ventilate, and make certain you can access it all. Keeping the fan? or losing it for the projector??? Getting the projector off the floor would be smart I think... again space issues.
Thinking about Surrounds... have you thought about going 5.x.4... or are you going to keep with 7 on the bed layer? Admittedly, I've entertained going with a Rear Center instead of stereo Rears: Small room, add in Atmos, I suspect that change is workable with the right gear.

Am open to the idea of a retractable transperent screen boils down to cost tho I have enough room to put one fixed up on the wall. Want to budget as much as I need to for speakers amplifiers projectors and screens. But primarily speakers first.

Am totally open to going with a 5 bed system vs a 7 bed

And I don't have to bring all the towers tho I'd like too

Am willing to sell it all and start fresh

Basically I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get the best room done both for the audio and the visuals

No natural light I'm turnimg into Golem those windows will be acoustically sealed off this room will be pitch black a true darkened room for a projector

What does RBH bring to you that the others don't? I haven't had the chance to listen to them, so I have no comparison point.

I will say, though that 5 full range towers, if you can do that, would be a monster bed layer. Or at least two full range at your mains, and the slightly lesser siblings at center and Surround... (just an example to illustrate (not full range, though): Monitor Audio Silver 500 as L/R, MA Silver 300 as Center/Surrounds)... then you have a little more leeway for sub placement. But if you can get full range at your mains, you can go Geddes style with your subs, and pick the 3 best places around your room to supplement the mains.

At 3000'3, i think sealed subs could be a consideration. I know its a bit of a heresy, but you will have cabin gain in that room, and I think it can work in your favor. Just a suggestion to experiment, not an earnest recommendation.

Regardless, you've got a lot to work with! Completely blank slate.
