Hey guys,
I am building a new house and would like to install a Dolby Atmos setup (with in-wall speakers) in a relatively small loft. I am on a very tight budget and plan on upgrading speakers/equipment in a few years. I have 5 Klipsch R-1650W in-wall speakers and 2 Klipsch 612 ceiling speakers, and Pioneer VSX-933 7.2 Channel AV Receiver.
Due to dimensions of the loft and length of the back wall I am having a hard time deciding where to put the rear two speakers. There are essentially three options:
1. Both on the small back wall (but seems like they would be too close together and the left rear speaker will be more in the center than left), or
2. One on the back of the right side wall and one on the left side wall (but the left wall is too far to the left, beyond the stairs), or
3. One on the back of right wall and one on the left of the back wall.
Doesn’t seem like any one of the options is any good. I know I could suspend the left rear speaker from the ceiling above staircase on the left, but trying to avoid any visible speakers that are not in the wall.
Thanks for your help.
