Funny thing in my case is somehow the opposite, when some friends of mine come over to my house and look at my Bose speaker set up, they say what a nice set up I have, but I tell them not to be fooled, Bose is not hold in such high regard by a lot of people ( that was a surprise to me too when I first started to lurk around in these forums) but I came to the conclusion that for me is just a speaker brand that happens to reproduce good sound (to my wife and me at least). I'm more concerned about the music I listen to, and it gives me a lot more pleasure to buy a new CD or DVD, and find out that goes beyond my expectations.
