There may be plenty of speakers using wave guides and compression drivers, but 10 to 15 inch mid-woofers are not the norm. If anything, manufacturers have chosen smaller drivers to keep the enclosures more narrow and aesthetically pleasing. OTOH, it was nice to see Swerd's avatar pop up in my feed. Miss that guy.
