Its not BS. How many endorsements and the millions has Tiger lost since this scandal broke and his image tarnished. Why would some advertisers drop him as a sponsor, if he is still the most talented golfer in the world? Talent as well as public image BOTH play a part in endorsement deals. He was one of the most brandable athletes in the world and part was because of his (fake) image. Its not the case anymore.
The problem is thats not a quantifiable fact. "Honey people think so much better of me because I am married to you....". Really? So your saying your 100% certain that he wouldn't have made as much money unmarried? Sounds like your making up one of those hypothetical situations that women do when they are trying to milk you for information or trying to coax an opinion out of you. :p

You can quantify how much his " non-golf image" was worth at that time by the amount of money in endorsement he lost from Gillete, Accenture, AT &T etc etc. More importantly how much was received from these sponsors over the years.

How about, he knew what he was getting into when he said I do? From that point on, every time he slipped to a woman who wasn’t his wife, he was risking half his money. He rolled the dice that he wouldn’t get caught and it came up snake eyes.

Yeah I don't know guys.....the problem I have is that even though he was born talented he had to work hard and earn that money. In a way it seems like she is just freeloading as she didn't proactively do anything to earn it. All she did was exist. Maybe I'm just jealous. :p

I see both sides, sort of. But either way, she can't be the bad guy. She didn't write the rule book, and after what he did to her it would be pretty tough not to stick him a little.

She is the mother of his children.

Yes but how does that make money? If I get married and have kids will that entitle me to new opportunities vocationally? Not as far as I know.

Yeah I totally agree.....and I think he is a complete douchebag......but I do feel these frivolous lawsuits have gotten out of hand and will only get worse...

Depends on what you do for a living. Hey, I do get what you're saying. If she was the one who cheated, or just decided to move on, I'd be all over her case for getting half (or whatever % 750 mil is). But it is part of the contract he entered into. If he didn't want to give up half his chit, then he shouldn't have gotten married. And he sure should have kept his pecker in his pants.

One thing that kind of gets to me is that Tiger paid $X million extra, above and beyond I guess whatever his prenup was, in order to guarantee her present and future silence. Now, I have to expect that both parents love their kids, and would like to protect them from having them hear it whenever they turn on a TV, pass by the newstand, or hit up the internet, etc. If Elin were to have started blabbing, just how would that be the actions of a protective and loving mother?

That aside, it goes to show that Oprah, love her or not, and Jeter, are pretty smart people when it comes to managing their careers and monies.

Tiger Woods should definitely look at how Jeter has handled himself on and off the field. :D ;)
