Hi everyone.
I need if anyone could help me with this.I am looking for tower speaker taller than usual towers.I have the Mcintosh with a 6 feet height but those are way way above my budget.
I have been looking around and havent found anything at a reasonable price so i have decided to build them myself.
As a last chance before getting started on building them since i know im a lazy bug and i´ll take a year to build them i wanted to find out if any of you know any brand that manufacture these type of towers

Let me be the first to ask... Why do you want six foot tall tower speakers?

This is a friend of mines system, they look about 6' tall. Retail is 16.5k but can be had for around 7k, too much? You need some major power to go with these.

I think big speakers are out these days. You can get some 40" towers that'll kick. I myself am thinking about downsizing but actually upgrading with this system.

7.6 feet tall speakers

The RBH Sound T3/P speakers are over 7 ft tall (92")/ 280 lbs with incredible bass extension!

I believe they are retailed @ $15K, but you can most likely get ~ 25% off from your local dealer.:D

Buy the damn RBHs already:D most line source speakers will be walking tall. The CLX from martin logan fit the bill for "tall" speakers.

I think of Audiogon, and their "All Out Assault" area. Been years since I've seen it, so thanks, hahaha. I remember this being a pretty outrageous LCR!!!!

Some other system pics, though I bet there are a hundred more at 6'+.

My dealer had those that are in the middle for a while. I didn't really like them and forget what they were. He was proud of them though.

Matt,

Actually no. :)

We've been building and shipping a few pairs already.

I tackled this project out of necessity due to my obligations to my friends/customers since they paid in full for those through me and everybody know by now Schifter never did deliver them :(

Ours are built by SAC.
Are those only offered by Danny as a kit now?

Okay, just going by the height of the speakers (over 6ft tall), here are 3 examples just for crazy fun:eek::

1) T3/P = 92" = $15,000 = $163/inch pr

2) MG 20.1 = 79" = $12,500 = $158/inch pr

3) LS9 = 81" = $6,000 = $74/inch pr

:D:D:D

Actually, that $5,995 is NOT real.

For obvious reasons to the ones who had followed av123 saga, that price was set to attract pre-pay and even to this day, I am still wondering how many pairs they had delivered at that price.

In reality, I would lose my shirt if I sold mine at that ridiculous price.

Mine starts at $7.5K for standard Satin Rosewood.

Comparing the LS9 to the Epiphany then you'll know they are a bargain.
