45" LCD or 50" Plasma

I went to Magnolia today and had the chance to see the Sharp LCGD7U and the Pioneer PRO1130HD. I very much preferred the Pioneer. In fact, it was my favorite TV there in 50" and below. I'll definitely get a 1080P set in a year or 2 when I replace my main HT TV (76" Mitsubishi), but for now, the Pioneer really provided a stellar picture to keep me happy.

Plasma vs LCD

Although I wanted to buy the LCD because it just seems to make sense (replace light bulbs, low power usage, etc...), it just doesn't present as good of an image as the Plasmas - especially with action sports and viewing from off axis angles. I went with the Pioneer Elite PRO 1120 last spring, and I still love it!
