Question around playing music out of zone 2?
I was playing music off of my fire TV and running analogue rca to zone 2 via a digital to analogue converter (optical cable from fire tv to converter).
I just changed and got the fire cube and it does not have optical out. How can I run audio to zone 2 from the fire cube? I got a view Hd audio receiver extractor https://u9ltd.myshopify.com/products/viewhd-hdmi-audio-extractor-support-mhl-arc-4k-toslink-audio-output-l-r-audio-converter-vhd-h2harc
but it won’t run hdmi out and analogue our at the same time. Any advice on how to runzone 2 analogue from fire fire cube?

I think DRM has got you. I don't think you can do that by intent. HDMI audio strippers are now out. This sot of thing has been made impossible by intent.

I did find a fix for zone 2. ran pandora through Xbox one instead of fire cube. and then optical out to audio extractor to analogue.
You would think amazon fire cube would have optical out.
