I need some help with choosing the best subwoofer for my situation. The subwoofer will be primarily used for home theater. I only have 2600 sqft but I will like to use for future larger room so having something over powered fine with me

Not taking price into consideration- which would be the best option?
-SVS PB 13 Ultra
-2 SVS PC-2000's (or I can probably even do one 2000 & one 12Plus)
-Velodyne Digital Drive 10 PLUS? (I can get the Velodyne cheaper so I thought it'd be the best for my price range no?? )

others I considered were Paradigm Seismic 10, spa XS30se, and JL E-sub e112, but I think the top 3 choices are the better options.

my budget is no more then $2,300 in total. And don't want to do DIY

Well to start, I'd scratch the Velodyne DD10+ off your short list. In terms of raw output, its going to be lacking next to the other options. The PB13 for example is comparable in output to the DD18+:

A couple options I'd shortlist would be a pair of Hsu VTF-15H MkII's, or if you can squeeze another $50, a pair of PSA XS30se's as a high powered sealed option. Either option should rock a 2600cf space.

I nominate the RBH SX-1212N passive sub (MSRP is $1450, street price $1,000). Just add a subwoofer amp or any amp with gain control like the Crown amps.

It is 18" wide, 21" deep, and weighs 110 LBS, ~ 14,000 cubic inches in volume. So it is pretty large, yet relatively small footprint. With it's curved cabinet, it doesn't look as big. :)

I would also add Rythmik FV15HP to that list which eeks out the SVS and the HSU according to
http://www.data-bass.com/systems

Actually, Rythmik has a sale on these and you can two and still stay close to budget (not including shipping). We have LV12R on sale for $569 shipped, FV15HP $1274 plus shipping, E15HP black matte $1024 plus shipping, and F15HP black matte for $1074 plus shipping.

Or get one Rythmik F25 for $1545.

Spec is 14 - 200 Hz (-2 dB @ 14 Hz) with LFE inputs

At that budget my top pick would be two new Hsu VTF15h mk2 subs. Right now they look like the most bang for the buck you can get.

For a single sub, consider a passive JTR Captivator 2400 and hook it up to a Behringer iNuke 6000DSp amp.

Between two of hsu vtf15h mk2 and a pair of reaction audio pv-15x is going to be a close call.

Might be worth it to take a look at some Funk Audio Subs. They got some 15" that maybe in your budget.

If you want a nice tight bass that keeps up with speakers, they are the way to go ;)

They are certainly better than SVS when it comes the SQ and accuracy.

We use James loudspeakers Subs. Very nice...

This is what we have now.
EMB-12
EMB-10
2 James power pipes with M1000 amps for both.
2 210SDX with M1000
And a couple more.

You should take a look at Reaction Audio's new PS18x. It's a high excursion 18" driver in sealed setup using a 4000w SpeakerPower amp. It's basically right at your budget.

I'd have to go with dual VTF15, but all options mentioned so far are excellent.

At that price you should be looking a custom dual build. You can get a local cabinet maker to build the boxes for you.
