Is there any way to avoid overloading the tweeters? some sort of way or perhaps a device to tune/limit the wattage going to the tweeters?
Some amps use "limiters" and "filters" or compression schemes to protect the speakers. But I think it defeats one point of using active speakers. Why do you want active speakers? For better sound quality? So why resort to limiters that can compress the sound and potentially adversely affect sound quality?

If you want to go by-the-book or close to it, just get the AT1202 for the midrange and AT602 for the tweeters. The tweeters usually only need 10% of the power of the woofers.

I'm going active to have better sound quality. I'm trying to avoid anything that will affect the sound quality

Then I would not use any kind of limiters to the amps. Just buy amps that fit your power requirement. Don't try to save a little money and then have to stress over it and then compromise your sound quality by trying to limit your amps.

Are there any real pictures of what the 2 different cabinets look like?

Will the Center be inside the big 1 piece cabinet?

without knowing more, I favor the first option with the center speaker on it's own stand.

This is new (to me) home that I'm moving into in couple of weeks. I will send some pictures later today.

I don't have the cabinets yet but I'm looking for ideas. I'm looking at sonus AV furniture.

The center is big so I don't think it's gonna fit inside, I will put it on the top of the cabinet and I will hang the TV on the wall.

I would prefer to get modular audio racks and place them on each side of the Cener as in option #1. These racks will provide better ventilation for your amps, processor, & PC.

I've attached 3D pics of actual dimensions and I took the dimension of the AV Rack as recommended and I chose BL304GB from VTI

I've started this thread "planning" to spend no more than $15k, ended up paying 3xtimes the original plan!

Anyone here is having the same problem??

Wow. So the budget is up to $45K now?

I think most people may exceed their budgets by $1-2K. But not by $30K.

Well, let's hope you keep your $45K system for a very long time. If you sell your $45K system, you might only get back $15K.
