10 Weeks for HD-DVDs

The main one is at 1:41. However, Mr. Skin has the full list. I'm not posting a link.

The only rewatchable movie on category A is The Italian Job. I bought it in a catalog sale before I bought my 2nd player. Otherwise I would definitely select that. Aeon Flux was the first HD-DVD movie (first video was Planet Earth) I ever saw (Netflix rental). Pure eye candy--no plot, no substance. However, it's definitely more rewatchable than Babel.

I'm just glad I got Apollo 13, Blazing Saddles and Casablanca for free the first time around. Those took about 3 months. I waited with anticipation for those. I won't lose any sleep waiting for the 2nd set.

I liked Babel, but it didn't have a ton of rewatch value, which is why I haven't picked it up. It is probably worth a second watch, but not much beyond that. Only the naked girl's story held any impact to me.

The key word here being F R E E. Pretty silly to complain about that. In the very worst case, you could sell them unopened...

Consider yourself lucky...it took AT&T SIX MONTHS and numerous calls to get me the $50 rebate they owned me...

It took me 10 weeks to get my free HD DVD's.

Yikes, I'm doing the AT&T cell rebate now. I remember the last time I did that it took them forever and a week.

A woman I work with is still waiting for her five HD-DVDs after she bought her husband an A2 about 12 weeks ago. Two weeks ago she called Toshiba and they said they had her order and they would get it out quickly.

I bought an A3 on black Friday but none of the movies on the free list I like enough to go through the wait of getting them.

I still haven't received mine. But I called about a week ago, and they still didn't have record of me. So the girl told me to just resubmit my order. Hopefully I'll get 2 sets of DVD's. Then I'll just sell one set on Craigslist.

Good luck. I got mine months ago and tried to sell them no CL with no luck. I ended up selling four of mine on eBay and didn't even average $15 a piece. The market if flooded with all the free HD and BD DVD's right now.

I sent my blu ray and HD DVD offers off the same day, I got my blu rays last week, still waiting on my HD DVDs... I'm guessing I may have to wait another month or so since they are so swamped. Oh well, I don't really care, I think I've seen most if not all 5 of the movies I chose anyway, just not in HD.

I had NO problem selling the 300 and Bourne Identity HD-DVD's that came with my A3 on Craigslist. I was only asking $10 each though. It's not like I was looking to make a ton of money, I just wanted to get rid of 'em.

DOH, for 10.00 each I would have grabbed them in a minute.
I guess I'll have to check craigslist more often...
That happens to be the only Bourne movie I'm missing.
And 300, although I only thought the movie as ~ok (I rented the BD version), I would certainly have no problem at 10.00

Anyhow, yeah the HD DVD free set took about a month longer than the free BD set I got.
I really feel bad for all those people that got players just over X-mas, they are already backed up.
LOL, now it will probably take 1/2 a year for some of those folks to get these freebies.

It's been pretty frustrating for me...first Toshiba sends everything back saying the date on the receipt wasn't eligible..it was, they had me re-submit everything to special handling, then I get a call saying that Syriana wasn't available (the one I really wanted), so I had to choose either darkman, troy, or black rain..i picked troy hoping it was the DC, but she couldn't confirm whether it was...
