If it's like other Denon models you'll need to be sending it a signal (Dolby Digital etc) when you go to adjust the Surround Parameters or the LFE adjustment doesn't appear. :)

You could, but that would kind of defeat the point of having a player with the Realta chip. Having had a few Video Processor's, my A1XVA (5910CI) outclasses the lot of them.

Whilst it can output that via HDMI, your plasma's HDMI blade won't accept it. They're very limited in the signals/resolutions that they can accept.

The HDMI blade doesn't accept a 480i (or 576i) signal. The problem isn't the 3930CI. The Component/VGA input on Panasonic Plasma's accept way more signals/resolutions.

The EQ indicator will be green if you select Audyssey as the EQ setting but will be red for the other EQ settings (Flat, Front, Manual) even if you haven't changed any of the channel levels etc. Doublecheck what EQ mode you're in by either pressing the STATUS or ROOM EQ buttons on the front...

Page 20 of the manual mentions it. :) Assume the bit in the manual you're referring to is the Troubleshooting table part at the back? That part means if you're not getting HDMI audio then check the settings in the setup menu, not the fact that it can't play them. Manual is a bit unclear sometimes.

The A11SR is the UK/Euro/Australian version of the 4802 not the 3805. ;) If you're looking to improve on it then ideally you need to check out the A11XVA (4806CI).
