true power money no object OK, here's a viable solution. Yamaha RX-V2500 using pre-amp outs ($800.00) 4 each Mark Levinson #33 amps. (4 x 32,000 = $128,000) Hence not to worry about the all channels driven controversy. ;) Result, passed all channels driven test. :D

Here's some other comparisons attached. Please draw your own conclusions. I can't find any solid proof that the 563A is better than the 578A :rolleyes:

Thanks Gene and Clint for the review. If we just compare the 2400 and 2500 reviews at this site that should be very adequate. My 2 cents, if you don't have the 2400 and want a new reciever buy the 2500. Again another informative and fine review. :)

I own the 578 and I'm happy with it. What Pioneer says should be considered. I think this should be examined at the schematic level for both units. I am assuming that if the 563 does not down convert, it will have a processor for DSD and one for DVD A. I could be mistaken? I wish one of the...
