Audyssey MultEQ® XT32 Room correction is pretty complex! I sometimes think that there is a hardware problem- just to find out that there isn't. So far the DHC-80.2 is pretty impressive- the sound after Audyssey MultEQ® XT32 Room Correction is awesome!:)

I highly suspect that the Klipsch speakers are very efficient. As a result more amplification may be unnecessary?:)

Integra still has some quirks within HDMI 1.4a to smooth out. Their HDMI through when the unit is off is about as smooth as a brown derby beer. I would guess that the other brands have some issues with HDMI as well?;)

Yamaha is number uno as far as I'm concerned!

I installed The DHS-80.2 this evening. I'll set up the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 tommorrow-got to sleep. Initial thoughts: It appears top notch with the bonnet removed- could not resist. Battle Fleet Command out!:)

Your Yamaha AVR is a fine piece of equipment, and the big Emotiva will add a punch- no doubt. The DHC-80.2 is an Audio Video Processor, it has no amps built in. I have an Outlaw Model 770 amp, that will handle the amplification. I can't say anthing bad about either Outlaw Audio or Yamaha...

I purchased the Integra DHC-80.2. It is extremely similar but with a different face or front- the back is identical. I just ordered it. I hope it performs well! :)

I purchased this. Onkyo Integra DHC-80.2 Theater Preamplifier Onkyo I will keep the Outlaw Audio 770 amp. The Outlaw Audio Model 990 AVP in abasolute pristine condition will go on sale-if the Integra arrives and lives up to my expectations. Thanks :)

I'll take a good look at the Denon 4311. The big Onkyo reciever is gathering steam- the amps on it are just a huge bonus- should the Outlaw quit working or I go 9.2 channels. I am somewhat worried about heat with the 990 mamouth and the big Onkyo reciever in the same cabinet- fans are noisy...

Onkyo I own two Yamaha AVR's and Outlaw Audio seperates. But, if I were to buy now, this Onkyo offering would be hard to pass up on. If, of course, the Onkyo is as reliable as the two previous mentioned brands.
