I will be reviewing the XPA-5 after I finish up some other reviews. I just finished a nearly 20 page review of the Yamaha RX-Z11 and need a good 10-15 min break before i test another amp or receiver :)

that is an excellent question and I was wondering that myself. I suspect they are NOT independent outputs since they aren't color coded but I will ask Yamaha.
