I agree we need to write reviews more frequently. The problem is we are understaffed for such a task. First Look articles at least give a product glimpse and content for the site. I've personally been more focused on tech articles which I rather enjoy writing. I've got some very cool ones...

Audyssey has more than 1 octave resolution for bass. In fact its the only auto-eq system we've tested that actually does something beneficial for the sub channel when properly used.

You're still missing the point. The Volume scaling issue I mentioned exists on virtually all products using Audyssey, THX, PLIIx, etc. It drops the max available volume level when all processes are engaged. The Integra simply doesn't show the limitation it just limits max volume while still...

That is one of the reasons why I love that tweeter. It plays down low enough to blend really well in a two-way design. It also has great power handling.

Ditto on that. I haven't found a nicer sounding tweeter than a Scan Speak 9500. I prefer it to even the Revelator.

Loops help to create a strong magnetic field inside the coil due to Faraday's Law of Induction. Thus when you loop a cable you increase inductance. The impedance of a coax for example is SQRT(L/C) where L will increase with looping and thus caused increased cable impedance.

Be careful doing this with video cables, especially HDMI as you can change the cables impedance/inductive properties as a result.

It's not easy finding qualified reviewers that have good writing skills, ability to do objective analysis and good people skills. I am open to applicants of course.

In the Denon manual they warn about compatibility issues when using HDMI to DVI. I suggest either upgrading your display to an HDMI one or using component video for all of your HD connections.
