The reality is only the woofers/midrange require some break in time which varies based on the actual design. Typically 10-20hrs of playback will do it or a few weeks depending on how often you listen.

In your situation yes. Start at around 80Hz and work your way down if its too overpowering at the region they overlap. I suspect 50Hz extension is more like -10dB point of your pinnacles than -3dB especially when playing at high volume levels.

Sleestack; Go with the Infinity given the two choices. I recommend connecting the sub speaker level in parallel with your main speakers and running them full range. Depending on the range of your Pinnacles (model#?), try setting your sub within 20-40Hz above its rated -3dB point.
