I would shy away from the "Current Source" output. All it does it stick a 1 ohm resistor in series with the power outputs which will raise the amplifier output impedance, destroy damping factor, create unnecessary losses, potentially roll off the top end and cause frequency response varations.

Not really. The 5805's more immense power supply and other amp tweaks make it superior to the 5803's.

Price really isn't an issue with cables. For a very minimal cost you can design an interconnect with low capacitance, plenty of shielding and solid terminations. The cosmetics and marketing appeal is usually what drives the outlandish prices and psuedo science claims.
