Nope they are not in this shootout and simply didn't enter b/c their product wasn't ready. They are a nice bunch of folks and I will definitely include them in another shootout should we ever host one after this nightmarish experience.

What is strange to me is their sub actually outperforms some of the others in the comparison at least in terms of SPL output. I was really enthusiastic about promoting a smaller but potent sub in the mix. :rolleyes:

I stand corrected. :eek: Let me better qualify my statement: I don't know of any 2-way, 2 driver bookshelf speaker that has the output capabilities of the E55s.

I don't know of any 2 way bookshelf speaker that can play as loudly as the E55s. Most bookshelfs will bottom if driven full range at high SPL levels. I discuss this in my review of the E55s.
