Unless the speaker is right up against the screen, there will be diffraction issues most notably for the L/R speakers. I've seen this happen with regular tightly stretched grille cloth. It's ok for HT environment but IMO not for critical two-channel listening. A better solution for 2CH and HT...

Yea I tried those but they were a bit too hard (at least the ones I had) and tilted the speaker up too much. I do have a spare set of Auralex MoPads in storage I may eventually swap out with should I ever have the urge to move the center channel again.

No I haven't had a chance to listen yet but I was told they sound "similarly good" to Axiom M80s but have higher output capabilities and deeper bass extension. I will look for their demo room at CEDIA to take a listen though assuming they host active demos at the show.

At low listening levels, possibly. At higher listening levels, always go with the more powerful amp, all other things being equal.

It is good enough, people like to abuse the term DBT in the audio industry, especially some manufacturers. Almost nobody does DBT's for audio and they certainly don't follow the strict protocol established by the medical industry.

Guys; realize the amp has differential outputs which bridges two-channels together. Each side of the amp sees 1/2 the load impedance so that is why they likely rate it for 4 ohms. It will work with 4 ohm speakers fine but won't be able to double down into a 2 ohm load due to current...
