Preamp out voltage specs are typically NOT unclipped max ratings unless otherwise specified. Many products I've seen speced 1V/1kohm typically measured at least 2Vrms at 600 ohms unclipped. Only way to know for sure is to measure it.

I'm really into home theater and yet I have no receiver or processor that supports Atmos in any of my three theater rooms. The tech is so immature at this point. Give it a few years. I'm sure Emotiva and others will offer upgrade paths if and when Auro/Atmos/DTS??? formats catch on.
