SVS PB13-Ultra Subwoofer Review
I submitted a request to Seaton for a product sample but haven't heard back. His products looks pretty solid though he's not a mainstream vendor so only true enthusiasts know about his stuff.

SVS PB13-Ultra Subwoofer Review
As a reviewer with multiple bulging and herniated discs I acquired over a lifetime of bodybuilding and lifting ridiculously heavy products (thank you Denon and RBH Sound), weight is a huge problem for me now

I just saw this. I can't get a hold of Brian Ding of Rythmik but hopefully he knows and is working on a solution. I will also send an email to Chad of Epik.

Yes that is heavily smoothed and typical curve that many manufacturers love to publish for their products.

Emotiva Launches new Pro Website and Active airmotiv Monitor Loudspeakers
WE get it. Emotiva is charging a markup for essentially a very similar product that QMS is offering. Considering that Emotiva is fully servicing and warrantying the product and providing FREE shipping and a 30 day in-home trial, and not charging a 700% markup like Lexicon was doing with the...

Emotiva Launches new Pro Website and Active airmotiv Monitor Loudspeakers
Actually its a 60dB scale and likely NOT smoothed. The measurement looks gated to me hence why it cuts off below 300Hz.

Emotiva Launches new Pro Website and Active airmotiv Monitor Loudspeakers
I spoke with Dan Laufman, President of Emotiva about this. Here is the whole story: I think this just goes to show, get the whole story before crying conspiracy on a public forum especially when you're a new poster on the site. thanks.

Aperion Audio Verus Surround Dipole/Bipole Speaker Preview
NEVER trust Audyssey or any auto-room correction system to properly set crossover frequency for your speakers. Audyssey can't deal with a boundary gain of a speaker placed closely to a wall so it will assume the speaker is large and set a low crossover point. As for bipole vs dipole, the...

Emotiva Launches new Pro Website and Active airmotiv Monitor Loudspeakers
Hmm. I thought the new Emo speakers had a familiar look. I will call them and question them about this. Perhaps its a joint operation between both brands.

Dave your quite a knowledgeable and classy person. Thanks for adding this useful commentary about M&K. I was a big fan of their older products back in the day and glad to see another legitimately great high end speaker company back in the game!
