So looking at this AirPlay feature on these newer AVR's....it looks like they still need to be connected by an ethernet cable from the PC/router to the AVR correct? If that's the case then I might as well just keep my current and run an optical from my PC. I thought it was all wireless.

What plasma did you buy? Head over to AVS Forums and find some ISF/Pro calibrated settings to use (granted they'll be slightly different from tv to tv...but not much). Burn-in is a thing of the past unless you're an idiot with your tv OR you have a defective panel. Don't be lazy and leave it on...
