I think this is a good article for people to re-read again: Trading SPL for Extension Hopefully this will help folks realize there are no free lunches. The HSU in 2port mode, EQ2, certainly did a great job of NOT trading SPL for extension.

If your primary concern is true 20Hz extension at meaningful output levels, get the SVS PB12 Plus DSP or the Rythmik FV-15HP we recently reviewed. The Emo 12 is designed to be small, cheap and powerful but it rightly limits output down to 20Hz to keep the product clean and stress free.
