    SVS Ultra Speakers Loudspeakers

That's a good question. Interestingly though for $2k/pair your getting high quality parts and construction with a real veneer wood finish. Some manufacturers charge 25-35% more for real wood and instead give you vinyl as their base price. $2k/pair for these looks like a real deal!

Audio Power Cables / Cords - Do they really make a difference?

you don't need a blind test as much as a way to instantly change out the cords which is nearly impossible. Audio memory sucks when dealing with subtle differences.

Audio Power Cables / Cords - Do they really make a difference?

Craig; there is no valid theoretical reason why the Nordost power cables should make any difference in your system but if you feel like it does and your happy with your purchase nobody can fault you for it. Enjoy, their stuff is pretty and if you've got the coin to spare for it, that's your...

Put up some good streaming options here and we will consider adding them as alternatives or even primary sources in future systems. absolutely not. We figured most people setting up a 2CH system wouldn't have a display in that room and it''s necessary to have a display to configure the Oppo. If however you have a display than the Oppo BDP-105 would be the perfect solution.

Check again. The amp, Sacd player and turntable come out to around $3k. Power conditioner is optional and useful. There is no hard rule that you have to spend more on speakers then everything else combined. The yammie amp is pricey but it's got a meaty amp section and it looks fantastic...
