Of all the various upgrades to my stereo over the years, the one that gave the greatest improvement was getting rid of my vinyl LPs and replacing them with CDs. I did this immediately after hearing a CD for the first time, back in the '80s, and will never look back.:)

I taught a summer Calculus course once. It was both the most difficult class I have taught and the most difficult for the students. It was a huge amount of material to cover in a very short time (not to mention the classes were 2 1/2 hours each!)

Except, of course, that no "higher being" exists.:)

I have heard a lot of speakers that reviewers have panned for having significant cabinet resonance, but that sound fine to me. Is this because I never play music very loud?:confused:

I disagree. I think that we are born with a much more developed concience than you are giving us credit for. Of course it must be reinforced, but this can be done with examples taken from reality, not ridiculous fantasies like heaven, hell, God, Satan, angels, miracles, Jesus as something more...

Why bother? That is what they all become eventually, anyhow.:D

By segueing the two statements, you imply that they are related when they are not. "Yes, I am an American." ends in a period, it is a complete sentence and a complete thought. Also, by omitting the context "I am not discriminatory", you made the second statement seem negative.

I got a bonus, but it was not huge (about 1/3 of a month's salary.)
