There was a time when I would have said Boston without hesitation. They have gone severely downhill since then, however, while Polk has remained consistent. Nothing by Boston today is even in the same league as the classic A60s.

Are you looking for monitors for listening, or literal monitors (for recording)? For listening, I strongly recommend that you hear the Cambridge Audio S30s. Don't let the price fool you, they sound like they cost at least $1200. They easily rank among the top 5 or 10 speakers I have heard...

Those she is not interested in? Definitely. If the manager doesn't understand her right to turn down guys who are hitting on her, then she is working for the wrong manager. Nobody suggested being rude about it, merely decisive.

Why would you do that after paying for the ticket? Even without being a fan of her music, it is sure to be a lavish, entertaining spectacle.
