Are VAs the ones with the transparent woofer cones? If so, I heard a pair in North Carolina a few years back. I was impressed with the sound (and thought they looked way cool) but have never seen a pair since then.

The funny thing is, I actually considered that. They are currently being used as surrounds, and the Alesises are good enough for surround duty. Unlike the Cambridges, however, they do not look new (and the piano black shows scratches badly.)
