Those self locking banana plugs are nice! If you look on Ebay, there are others that look exactly the same. Probably made by the same outfit.. My only complaint is how they compress the wire. I'd like to have seen a wider screw..

Lot's of companys use a two wire with shield for interconnects. What to do with the shield? Either leave it be or...at the source end, connect it to the outside body of the RCA plug with the white wire. This makes it "directional" in the same way that Monster and several other compaines...

The best one you can get in that price range, is one you build yourself. Are you handy?

I use them on the back of the preamp as it makes it easier to change things around if need be. Other than that, seems to me that compressing the wire with the wire nuts makes a better fitting than using bannanas. The one's I use on the back of the pre/pro are the locking type.

Yep...a redbook layer on one side and a multimedia on the other. ' It depends on what you buy as to what you get on the DVD side. Any in the Sony label, won't have DVD-A but should have a Dolby Digital surround mix....and some will have a bit more than lyrics and such for the video portion...

Also consider a DIY if your handy or have a friend who has woodworking skills. You can maximize what you get that way. Subs aren't that hard to build compared to speaker systems.

There are alternatives to using Canare dies and strippers...If your interested, I could post some links to some ideas. Also....consider soldering the ends with a quality RCA plug...It's not that hard...Really! Just takes a bit of practice for most plugs.

You know.....really it's too hard to say. Would it have to depend on the albums influence on all other bands? How much it sold? For me, it would have to be how many times I've heard it and the enjoyment I get every time i listen to it. That would narrow it down to about 70 or 80...
