They have co-ax drivers like Kef. I bet those sound great with the 10" woofers. I wonder how they compare with my Q11 Metas.
These are the 8’s, the 10’s are significantly larger, too big for this room! From what I remember of the Q7 metas I had, the KEF are a little darker, more rolled off at the top end. I have some KEF Q150 on hand and these really just fell like a bigger version of them with more dynamics, similar dispersion, but smoother upper mids and treble.

Pretty serious duckets for their speakers. I expect a nice smooth sound from Andrew Jones though.

My cousin was in town for a concert and we had some time before we needed to drop her off at the train station so we dropped by the local record shop. I found a few Deftones albums and picked this one up. A few other rare import singles from other bands as well.

Okay, now I'm jealous and you suck. :)

EDIT: For the LS50's?
Yes. You are correct and I will take that as a compliment. I have been coveting Lumin gear for a while so this guy had a mint one for 200 less than everyone else. So boom, here we are. If you would have use for the WiiM, I will send off to you for the shipping cost. It is a cool device.

Well, that's about the nicest thing I've heard since John gave me the Floyd disc. I'm honored, humbled, thrilled ... it's hard to explain but something needs to be said. Thank you would be the obvious place to start.

It's very weird having an audio forum be the source of feeling warm fuzzies, yet here we are.

Thanks, Craig.

  • Added a used Sony bdp-BX 57 that was like new it will play about any multi channel disc for music mainly. It was my sons he worked at Sam’s Club at one time he had some decent perks he probably never used it . I ve tried out a few of the newer Floyd mixes so far it sounds good.

LinerX seat back covers to go with the Weather Tech trunk liner. I like them, they just Velcro on and fit nicely. We're already in the process of moving, so they will come in handy.

Nice. I have something similar in the Bronco. At minimum it also keeps the dog hair off the seat backs.

Milwaukee Plunging Track Saw +110" worth of Track.

And 10 sheets of 3/4" MDF.

:D
That sounds interesting on a couple of levels. Those guides/tracks sure are convenient and this new battery only craze just makes things sweeter than ever.

It use to be a lot harder to make good accurate cuts. I'm a little jealous because I'm in like 80's lock down for tool technology.

Are you going to be secretive about the project? I'm hoping not. I'm the kind that reads the end of a book so I can enjoy the beginning and middle without all the uncomfortable suspense.

Toro 22" mower with 60V 8ah battery.

Also looking at a new car... but some things to work out. Was not actually planning on buying right so it's an unexpected decision to weight right now.

I’ve been waiting to build some Subwoofers for material cost to come down. It did, and then a 20% off sale at the hardware store saved me another hundred! :D

I don’t trust my landlords table saw… plus he doesn’t have a feeder table to help get those 100# sheets up on the cutting deck. Hence the plunging track saw.

I used to use my circular saw and one of his 8’levels clamped to sheet stock for long cuts, but it still lacked accuracy. This combo should be better.

Wish I had them in my Forester when I was hauling the dog around. :)
I made sure to get the liners and back seat cover my Outback as I do tend to haul stuff around. Liners tend to be slippery though but cheap anti-slip mats from the Dollar Store help with that.

I bought a dedicated vintage CD player to replace the DVD player that I was using in the 2 channel stack. The reason is posted in my main system setup.
