I gotta ask, what's with all the trolls all of the sudden?

A thread about trolls that turned into a discussion of beer. If I didn't know better, I'd think that Rick started this thread. :D
I try to stick with what I know.....Beer and Asian women :D

There's a simple solution...don't work out. :p
That's enough from you, do you have any idea what a 300lb person with 10% body fat would look like if he didn't work out? The Rock is my height and 265 with around 14% body fat picture him losing 50lbs of muscle...

I have a pretty good idea what a 130lb person with 10% body fat would look like...

I remember when I weighed that much. Took me until sr year of high school before I broke 130.

Oddly...me, too. I started working out my senior year, and I kept it up through college and afterwards. I topped out in the mid to high 140's, but I've dropped a good amount of weight in the past decade or so.

Unfortunately I'm still topping out. I hurt my shoulder and ankle and ended up at 178. The shoulder is better, the ankle is still fried, but I'm down to 174 no idea on the body fat.

The best IPAs I've had are from the Great Lakes Region. Perhaps you should bring me some from the North West to correct this injustice. :)
To clarify, the NW coast "style" IPA. Many breweries around the country brew this style.

Somewhat strong alcohol, plenty of hops with citrus notes can almost take on grapefruit sometime (cascade, centennial, amarillo are some of my favs).

As far as my favorite IPAs
Ballast Point Sculpin (been in Tx maybe 8 months)
Russian River Pliney the Elder (no tx)
Stone IPA or Ruination IPA (in Tx)
Austin Beer works FireEagle (tx)
Sierra Nevada Torpedo (It is better in the tallboy can)
Southern Star Pinebelt Pale Ale (out of Conroe, maybe not quite an IPA but good)
Bells Hop Slam (no tx)
Alesmith IPA (no TX)

Now get ready. Some are hoppier and more bight than others. The hoppiest make my jaws clench :D

I;m done with the whole IPA thing... I think it was something different in the beginning that made it appealing, now its just bitter piss.. and too much to choose from.. Also Im so sick of seeing so much seasonal garbage on tap, angry orchard, pumpkin douche bag, or what ever else, keep that yuppy puppy sh!t in the bottles, tap should be the basics, Heinekin, Bud, bud light, blue moon, ect...

If Im eating I like Blue moon with a shot of OJ in it, If I'm drinking after dinner or socially I would rather have a good smooth whiskey...
2 words for specialty beer: cask conditioned. Must keg for that, and it's worth it. Though they typically serve it chilled to get the subtle flavors, I prefer it to start a bit cooler and let it warm to there.

I have to admit that I'm getting into the hard ciders. Not like angry orchard and the commercial ones, but the smaller brewery ones. They're pretty darn good.
Yeah, real ciders are good and hard to find. Dunno how close it is to you but I definitely want to go here one day
B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill

A lot of the other stuff out there as cider is flavored malt liquor. I'll still drink a couple here and there, but its basically just alcoholic koolaid

What type of whiskey? I love a good rye whiskey or bourbon.

I've slipped back up to 20 percent and it's rough, but so is maintaining 10 percent.

Ballast Point Sculpin (been in Tx maybe 8 months)Haven't had yet will look for.
Russian River Pliney the Elder (no tx)I want it bad
Stone IPA or Ruination IPA (in Tx)On my too try list
Austin Beer works FireEagle (tx)Haven't had yet actually
Sierra Nevada Torpedo (It is better in the tallboy can)Wasn't super impressed, but it was the 2nd beer and my team lost at the bar while I drank it.
Southern Star Pinebelt Pale Ale (out of Conroe, maybe not quite an IPA but good) Buried Hatchet Stout is by far their best beer IMO.
Bells Hop Slam (no tx) On list
Alesmith IPA (no TX)Never heard of

Fitiger's The Mayor in Duluth, MN was my favorite IPA I've had so far. That stuff will make you hop for sure.

Centennial IPA from Founders is my only 5 star in the journal. To me it was as close to a perfect beer I've come. I guess it's weird to rate a beer higher and like a lower rate beer better, but The Mayor doesn't do nearly as much flavor wise IMO. My favorite beer overall is still a blonde though. Fireman 4. Blondes are easy, cheap and get the job done.

I actually am pretty simple about the whiskey my favorite is Jameson the 12 yr old special reserve is what I am about half way through rite now {not tonight, its the last bottle I opened lol}.... But I have tried them all, I lucked into buying a gift basket that had 1 of each off a friend of mine that he won at a motorcycle show... I think the gold reserve is about the best value, kind of get what you pay for, its great for the price and not $100 a bottle...

Body fat is tough, I don't care what anyone says, activity has little to do with it, its intake... I'm 294lbs and I burn a lot of calories all day long just doing normal movements, never mind my workouts... And if I eat cheese burgers and drink soda once a day, Ill gain 5 lbs a day!!!! But if I eat high protein, low fat, of the same calories as the chz burger and drink water I won't gain wait or lose wait.. I take in 3800 calories a day, and wont gain wait, ubt if I eat a "whopper with chz " which is way under 3800 calories, Ill gain 4 lbs!!!

I don't pay as much attention as I did when I was younger, but I do watch my weight because its hard to lose it, muscle or fat I don't like being so close to 300, I want to be back to 380, and maybe shrink down to 360 someday.... I don't work out to grow, I work out to maintain, the only thing I want to gain is flexability... If I had to do it all over, I wouldn't, I would be all natural, 220lbs and shredded... this is too hard on me, sure Im fine now, but how will I be at 50? a friend of mine is 6'2" 260 all muscle, 48 years old, hes big, but has to wear some kind of vest that tells him when he is going to have a heart attack....
that woke me up a while back, my doctor put it into perspective because I was a dumb kid, "why would you soup up a car just to blow the engine way before its time" except I cant get a new heart, and a car can get a new engine, but still I got it...

Fireman's 4 is pretty good, especially on a hot summer day.

I prefer the 4^2, it is hoppier than the 4

It isn't a large brewery - don't know if they make enough to export.
Almost certainly not, since I haven't seen it.

That doesn't mean that I can't get my hands on a bottle though.

I'm not the biggest into it, but my neighbor and bro-in-law are big in the Beer Advocate scene where they trade beers with people in different geographic locations.

I can certainly put the bug in their ear and watch them get consumed by finding a bottle ;)
