I gotta ask, what's with all the trolls all of the sudden?

Oh, please. He'll just create another account. :p
Haha. Maybe he was Ridikas reincarnate to begin with.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure most of us would recognize his style and poor arguments and judgements and catch on pretty quick.

I thought mesons were a fraternal organization like the Elks, Kiwanis, or the Royal order of the Racoons?

I seem to remember he had already made his mark when I was at the lake as we discussed forum members. Adam you did get mentioned.

Were the terms "American p**s water" and "fine British stout" thrown around? :)
That's classic.

On the other hand, British IPAs suck. (American) Northwest Coast is the only way to go on IPAs

He definitely mentioned his favorites, but he's more of a wine drinker. You may be averse to traveling, but that theater is definitely worth it IMO.

The best IPAs I've had are from the Great Lakes Region. Perhaps you should bring me some from the North West to correct this injustice. :)

I've only recently started trying IPAs. This past week, I had a four-pack of Breckenridge Brewery's 471 IPA. Very tasty, IMO. I probably won't get more, though, because the 9.2% ABV is higher than I tend to enjoy in a beer (it didn't tarnish the taste one bit, but I'm not used to a beer hitting me that hard anymore).

The Breckenridge is a bit on the potent side. Founder's All Day IPA might be perfect for you at only 4.7. It's a lighter IPA, but still has plenty of flavor IMO.

I;m done with the whole IPA thing... I think it was something different in the beginning that made it appealing, now its just bitter piss.. and too much to choose from.. Also Im so sick of seeing so much seasonal garbage on tap, angry orchard, pumpkin douche bag, or what ever else, keep that yuppy puppy sh!t in the bottles, tap should be the basics, Heinekin, Bud, bud light, blue moon, ect...

If Im eating I like Blue moon with a shot of OJ in it, If I'm drinking after dinner or socially I would rather have a good smooth whiskey...

If it has Imperial or Double, in the description it will be high alcohol.

Hey Adam I'll bet you'd like a sierra Nevada Pale Ale: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. - Chico, CA - BeerAdvocate
It's a nice session beer with nice flavor. A Pale Ale with leanings toward an IPA.
It's a good starter beer.
Let me know what you think....or should I wait until you finish the 37 or 47 bottles you bought earlier?:D

A thread about trolls that turned into a discussion of beer. If I didn't know better, I'd think that Rick started this thread. :D

O I KNO, but its on tap everywhere and with a shot of OJ it tastes good with food.... I don't drink a lot of beer, I'll have a couple with dinner when we go out, I would much rather drink water... When I was younger I was a heineken guy, but you feel like sh!t after you drink beer, bloated and sickly, I would much rather just have a glass of whiskey and drink water all night... If I drink 2 whiskey doubles, the next morning when I work out, I can smell it in my sweat, that can not be good for you...

I am also ashamed to admit I like Travelors beer the yellow one, that is really tasty with bar food... I think its called curious..

I have to admit that I'm getting into the hard ciders. Not like angry orchard and the commercial ones, but the smaller brewery ones. They're pretty darn good.
