If I use two subs a Hsu vtf3 mk4 and a Ken Kreisel 12012 will the Hsu become distorted? I have never uses dual subs. The Kreisel seems to be more powerful.

It may run out of gas before the Ken Kreisel sub if you push things hard enough; however, assuming you take the time to calibrate the system, the Hsu and Kreisel should behave together (though I can't say how easy/well they'll blend together).

My avr has one sub output so that means I need to get a Y adapter. I also have Audyssey with just multeq. I know it will calibrate it as one sub but will Audyssey calibrate the subs or do I still need to tweak to prevent distortion on the less powerful one?

Unfortunately base MultEQ isn't going to help you a whole lot in terms of calibrating two subs. It won't adjust for the different distances, phase, response, etc between the subs.

Will the Hsu get distorted even if I listen at moderate volume?
