Here's the bare rack. It's a shelf bolted to the rails which use the Monster Carver amp as architecture. The DEQ is new and needed a home. I seem to have time off ... so ... this is what I did.
It all rides on this Mahogany base which is plastered with fuzzy wuzzies so that it slides. If I had thought I was gonna photograph it I might have sprayed a little of that upside down marking acrylic or something else clear stuff that we use at work to seal in chalk lines. What ever ... finishes are down to this level of input.
BTW ... all the parts and pieces were all scavenged from garbage piles ...
except for the 4 stainless rack screws.
It's nice that it slides around to access the wiring. Fuzzy Wuzzies rock. The speaker on the swiveling wall mount just barely clears. That was partly by design and partly luck. I wasn't exactly 100% positive about the height. I knew 16 inches would fit but I had extra room. As it stands the rack is 17-1/8"" and my clearance is 17-1/4". Ta-da ... it's magic.
The DEQ2496 ain't hooked up yet but here's some wires and adapters ... go ahead you wire sickos ... get an eye full.
