Hi, Jonny. If you don't mind me asking, why don't you just send it back for the correct item?

Also, and this is my opinion, this is an "open box" item that would typically be discounted at stores. For me, brand new means that I'm the first person to unwrap it and set it up - reducing the risk that something was scratched by the previous owner. I'm not saying that you scratched it :), just that having been opened might not seem like literally new to people reading your ad. That said, $325 does indeed seem like a good (but not outstanding) price based on the going rate at Amazon.

You may want to let people know your location and the shipping weight.

Im trying to upload a pic,it wont let me.I could email pics to anyone interested.Long Island shipped from NC was $25. 26#'s from 11738.To call this not brand new would be splitting hairs. It came factory sealed and was out of the box for a 1/2 hour. The remote is still factory sealed as is antenna and everything else.
I bought it from a home theater installer. His costumer upgraded so he got stuck with it. My 673 is already on route to me.He said I could send it back or sell it on my own.I am in know way stuck with it.If I sell it on my own Ill make$50 and paypal original sender the difference. So I figured if I can make 50.And still sell a $500 receiver for $325 to someone on the forum, its a home run for everyone.Otherwise Ill just send it back after the holiday weekend.I cant be more honest than that. And again it IS brand new. Also "open box" in a store could be a return for anything, maybe someone spilt a soda it in.You never know what your getting.Big box stores will take back anything.Mines being sold because I ordered one and got another.IT IS BRAND NEW

Just for the sake of argument :D

New = Unopened, factory sealed box. Not refurbished or returned.

Your item = Mint - The item must have been removed from its' original packing and used for less than one year. The one year or less of usage is a must since subtle environmental contact such as finger skin oils, household chemicals, smoke, and other airborne pollutants can negatively impact equipment. The result of this kind of exposure is a discoloration of the equipment's surfaces.

Specifically: Electronics - must have no visible scratches, nicks, or blemishes anywhere on the piece. The gold plating on input/output connectors should evidence no scratches or discoloration. Chrome should have absolutely no pitting or discoloration, especially around screwheads.

This getting a little crazy! If anyone can find This reciever anywhere in the realm of what im asking please post.If 1/2 out the the box is = to less than one year of use, than so be it.Again if you check my post from 3 days ago I was asking if I should buy it.To me,an opened cardboard box does not make an item used. This is becoming a bit more than its worth, someone is missing out on a good deal.

Jonny - I hope you realize that we aren't attacking you. You asked if you were missing something, and I gave my thoughts. Good luck with the sale.

Like Adam said, we're not attacking, but every major resale website (ebay, audiogon etc) will tell you right in their listing rules that your item is no longer "New" as soon as you cut the tape. Even if you open it up just to inspect it, it no longer qualifies as new and must be listed as used or mint or whatever other terminology they use.

Good luck.
