This type of story enrages me. Because the outfits were made in China? No. Because congress is spending our money talking about such an obnoxiously stupid thing, trying to divert attention away from the fact that they've continually effed up the economy. They might get a bunch of people all worked up, but it would be for no reason, IMO. Making outfits for the Olympic team almost surely wouldn't make a freaking dent in the 600,000 unemployed worker stats that they are quoting. "We employed over half a million people to make these clothes." BS. Plus, it's privately funded. The only tax payer money being spent is on them b***hing about it.
I wonder if the people in Congress trying to make themselves seem important with these statements buy American-made clothes (or other things). My guess is that they don't. After all, it's pretty difficult to not buy foreign made goods these days.
