I didn't even know Vauxhall is still around. Last time I've seen a Vauxhall is when I left the old country in 69.

Vauxhall is the new name for Opel, and yes it is British, but I believe they and Holden are both just subsidiaries of GM in those countries.

Vauxhall is the brandname used in the UK and Opel is used in the rest of Europe. Opel, Vauxhall, Holden are indeed subsidiaries of GM.

I remember working on Opel GT's back in the 80's,

mini corvettes :D

Opel GT's were re-introduced for 3 model years (2007-2009) as the European version of the Pontiac Solstice built in Wilmington which stopped in 2009 due to the financial problems and restructuring.
