I think they look better in person. The sedan does look great though. I've seen a few V coupes on the road and I still think they look greatSedan is fine, coupe: not so much.

I hate to say it (being the anti-GM person that I am) but I really like the sedan and I am pretty sure I would even take the wagon over the coupe. But hey, it's America and I respect your opinion.I think they look better in person. The sedan does look great though. I've seen a few V coupes on the road and I still think they look great
...and only $200,000...with the same impressive Mustang interior.Back to Mustang. Was just reading about this one the other day. Shelby 1000:
As in 1000 ponies
Seriously - that SUCKS! Hopefully it'll come away unscathed. Some of the emissions people here do a great job, while others are clearly just there for the money and don't give a s**t about anyone's property. And now, a moment of rage...
I just got a call from the DMV. I have to get the brand new, 50-State emissions certified GT500 smogged tomorrow before I go get plates since I bought out of state. Grrrrrrr.
Since it is just for the money anyway, why don't they just let me write the State a freaking $50 check and not worry about going to do the smogging? I am always good for some "mechanic" greasing up my steering wheel and seats, and denting my doors! Jerks.
Well, you know I have a WRX, which most know are not the kind of car you like to take to get smogged. I take good care of my cars, so this one passed with no issues at all.One nice thing about Arizona is that we don't need to get our emissions checked for the first five years on a new vehicle - we just have to pay the fee. I dreaded year six with the Prelude. For good reason. They crawled around the inside (three different people), then failed me because they couldn't find where to plug the cable in! I was pretty torqued. I drove out, pulled off the access panel (which I found myself in under a minute), pulled back around, waited in line, got back to them, then had to answer their questionnaire about if I'd taken it to a mechanic since failing. Keep in mind, it had been about two minutes since I'd talked to this guy...who had seen three people spend over ten minutes crawling around my car.
That's crap. What's with all the criminal shops these days? Maybe it isn't a new thing. I kind of hope that over time and with the internet reviews thing becoming more prolific that it starts shutting down places like that.Just got both my cars smogged in the last two weeks. On my car, they tried to say my battery was dying and I needed wiper blades. Apparently, they sprayed some crap on my windshield and tried to make it look dirty. I use rain-X and rarely ever use my wiper blades. The car was at the dealer last week for something else and I had them check the battery - nothing wrong with it. So when we had to smog the truck, we didn't go back to that shop.
Yeah, I hate taking my car to the shop. I take my 07 GT to a local Jiffy Lube to rotate my tires, (last time I did it myself I killed my back and America's Tire, who I bought the tires from won't do it because I have spacers on my wheels ), and EVERY time they bring her in they stall the car about 3 times. I cringe every time. Just let me pull her in myself.Since it is just for the money anyway, why don't they just let me write the State a freaking $50 check and not worry about going to do the smogging? The only thing I take to jiffy lube is the company car. You don't really need to lift the tires, just on and off. I usually just sit on the ground, put it on my shins and shove it into place.Yeah, I hate taking my car to the shop. That's exactly what I did and I could barely stand the next day. But I've got a bad lower back. I just had another MRI last week. The only thing I take to jiffy lube is the company car. Dude you want to talk about difficult smogging? My last Mustang got failed at a local place because of the aftermarket fuel pressure regulator I had on it. Then since the guy had failed it for modifications I had to take it to a special smog center where the guy went over my car with a fine-toothed comb and made me get CARB E.O. numbers for my intake, mufflers, cats, just about everything under the hood that didn't come on the car when I bought it. I was a GIGANTIC pain in the ***. I actually found out that a couple of components I had didn't have E.O. numbers even though the companies said they did.Well, you know I have a WRX, which most know are not the kind of car you like to take to get smogged. Yep. Because Ca. law states that you cannot legally touch anything that has to do with emissions. That's always the risk you take when modding here. I have an aftermarket cat-back and that's it. As long as the mufflers pass the REF sound levels, they are legal, so I went with the Borla Hush because it is relatively quiet.Dude you want to talk about difficult smogging? I even had trouble with my Cobra intake because even though it is a stock Ford part it didn't come stock on MY car. So F'in lame. I had to go back like 3 times.
Scheisse!I can't see your picture.
I was comparing it to this moment in Iron Man. Hope it gets added this time.
