Really Boring Stuff Only II: Return of the Boredom

Ordering a swingset today. Gonna put it up while Wifey & Munchkin are away in the Philippines. Can't wait to see the look in their eyes when they get back.

That's gotta be rough not having them around. I imagine you are losing weight though. I always lose weight when my wife isn't cooking.

I always plan a project for when they go away. Last time I built a subwoofer. It helps to make the time go by faster. (and it keeps me off the porn sights)
I do most of my own cooking now as it is. Won't be much of a change there. It's the laundry that will pile up.

In support of the 'it's the room' point of view I want to say that in my condo when I'm talking on the phone and walking around the sound of my own voice takes a serious turn for the worse when I enter the dining area with hardwood floors. It sounds best in room with acoustic panels. I've noticed it many times and it's never been something I actually tried to listen for. The difference just jumps out at you.

the store is actually not too far away, basically right across the ny/nj line
so driving to it and punching someone in the face is not entirely out list of my possible actions..

I really don't want to get refund and start from scratch, I going to give them one last chance and this time I f-n expect a free white-glove service.

Hey, man. First - that truly sucks. I bet that you were all excited to mess with it and watch it over the weekend, only to have this happen. I had the same thing happen to me when I ordered my Panasonic from Amazon. The panel was smashed from top to bottom. Very disappointing, but the second one was perfect and I've been enjoying it ever since.

I know, but I'm even more upset since I had two additional and totally unexpected delays already on same order and now yet another delay - it's just frustrating... like someone said - a bad luck with it

but not everything is bad, I been actually mildly successful loosing weight and today I weighted under 200 lbs for the first time in 5 years (i'm 35 and 6'1")
My darling wife is fully understanding and supporting me and have patience for the both of us. I'm thankful for that
