I know, just a couple of lbs less than the more or less equivalent Marantz SR7005. The 3311 and SR7005 apparently share quite a bit of contents. I am not saying the Denon has a good amp section (being light) but I am saying it has a good feature set for the price. The RX-A2010 would probably be a better all rounder though unless the OP prefers Audyssey to YPAO.

But I found the RX-A2000 for $999.99 from Crutchfield. Did you miss that?

I did not check for the 2000 because the op is considering the 3312 that is comparable to the. 2010. The 3311 is comparable to the 2000. I do agree the 2000 is a better deal right now due to the deeper discounts.
