How difficult is it to put a cable line into my room?

Unless you already have the needed tools, know how to use them, and how to route the wires, and have the needed parts, it's worth paying the $32.

You're probably gonna be paying close to that for the additional service anyway.

Mark's right.....by the time you finish, (tools, cable, splitters, termination, etc. etc.) it'll be easier and probably cheaper to pay the 32 dollars. Also factor your time, trips to The Shack, gas, aggravation.......$32 is a bargain.
