So Brady is mortal...only 60 FF pts in week 2...that's a 17 pt drop from the 77 he laid on me in week 1...

I'll take 1-1 to start the year....I'm just happy we're playing!

And I'll need everyone of those 60 points to win this week. I need 4 to take the game and all I have left is my Giants D. With Stephen Jackson out at RB, my other guys did jack including LT. Sigh...

I'm happy to be playing but the games are too close!

Oh yeah, Go Packers! Welcome to the NFL Cam Newton. You got a gun for an arm but you need some more years, son.

Anybody want Jason Witten, TE? I'll trade for a good WR.

Hah. Cheeky.

Why not!
With Hernandez out...I was going shopping anyways...Jason Witten is like winning the lottery....:D.

Sounds like Moore will have a much larger roll for this weekends tilt vs. Texans. Now any Brees TD's thrown his way will double your pleasure...;)

Good luck...:)

Another crazy week in the NFL!!! Steelers barely get past the Manning-less Colts, Vick breaks his hand, Pats lose to the Bills and my Bolts stink up the place in an ugly win agains the Chiefs.

And what's with all the injuries this season? 3 Bolts left the game yesterday. I hear a lot about the lack of training camps being part of the problem but there just seems to be a rash of injuries this year.

Major bummer, it looks like Gates is about done. His Plantar Fascitis doesn't seem to be getting any better. Guess we'll need to look for his replacement in the off season. Damn you Titans!!!

What a week of football! I am still celebrating along with the rest of Buffalo on this win. :) What a game!!!

Security was beefed up dramatically and the field goal posts were taken down right after the game by the grounds crew in fear of fans rushing the field and tearing them down. :D

GO BILLS!

Can't help you there! I'm sucking for receivers too. I have 1 decent on in Meachem. The rest suck.

Despite Brady tending downward each week (only 46 this week), I am still 3-0 which ties last year's team winning record. I'm like the Lions of the D-Bags league!

I'm not a fan, but it is cool to see the Bills and Lions doing well. Their fans have suffered for so so long. Just as long as they choke when/if they face the Packers.

Who has Vick? Broken hand kinda sucks...

Thanks....it's gonna be a long season, with Britt out for the year......I'm really weakened at the WR position and those FA prospects look slim. I'd be willing to trade BJ Green Ellis at RB if anyone is intrested in parting with a WR?:)

From TMQ:

The San Diego Chargers are plowing new ground by marketing a team wine. The beverage offers "vibrant fruit flavors and toasty oak." Considering the Bolts' performance in 2010 -- first in offense, first in defense, missed the playoffs -- TMQ suspects the wine is made to the highest possible standards from the very finest grapes, and tastes bad.

I'm definitely excited to see the new Romo. The lockout workouts really changed his demeanor a lot. The dude is flat out leading his offense.

He's "leading his offense" but they're playing like crap. I heard the term "carnival of ineptitude" applied to their last game, and it sounds about right.

His performance keeps getting called "gutsy." That's a euphemism for "sucked all night long, but managed to hang in there and let the other team suck a little bit more and somehow escape with a lucky win" ;)

Tony Romo playing with a rib injury was media overhype. That's typical of what the media does with Dallas. The media will try to sensationalize everything they do. The funny thing is he didn't even play well on monday night. Tony Romo has been the same old Tony Romo. Flashes of great play with very bad mistakes at crucial times in the game.
